Margaret's Sponsored Walk - 

Margaret said on Thu 5^th Oct - “I did survive the Corridor Walk around the Queens Medical Centre yesterday. June Roe came with me for 2hrs, and Peter for another Hour. We delivered approx. 150 group leaflets to wards, departments, Consultants etc.  We met staff in the Lifts and gave a few leaflets out.   We carried a board which had a big logo on of Myotonic Dystrophy and Jean for Genes notice.  On the back of my tee Shirt I had  Corridor Sponsored walk and the big green printing Myotonic Dystrophy Support Group and under that Jeans for Genes. The Nottingham Evening post came and took a picture.  June and I started off from David Brooks Laboratory, so they took a photo there.  It took just over 4hrs. and the pedometer read 4 9/10th miles

I did 6 miles two days before to have a practice of the distance!   I don't seem to have lost much weight.  !! “
